The village of ancient pines

Nestled at the foot of a steep slope, the village lies at the base of the ancient and extendet scotes pine forest , wanted by the austrians at the beginning of 1900 for the production of turpentine. The village is framed by a succession of fields and meadows cultivated with wheat and other more resistant cereals, it forms a gentle slope, that as a promontory reaches out the valleys of Armarolo and Personcino’s creeks, which are encased in deep rocky gorges.
